Each year, The Friends of the Kreutz Creek Valley Library Center raises over $30,000 to cover our branch's share of operating expenses and to support programming and other special needs of the library. This is necessary because the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania's contribution and York County's contribution is insufficient to totally fund the library system. A small portion of the $30,000 the Friends raise comes from governments within our service area which consists of Hellam Township, Hallam Borough, Wrightsville Borough, and East Prospect Borough. We need your support to encourage your municipality to use some of the tax dollars that you pay to them to support the library, as some of their contributions are minimal and others nonexistent. We also receive some contributions from organizations in our area for which we are grateful.
