Your support by purchasing these items for personal use or as gifts helps the Friends meet its annual financial commitment to the York County Library System to help keep your library serving you as a vital cultural and educational center. Life is a Hammock by Sy Brandon



Former Kreutz Creek Valley Library Friends member, muscian and now author, Sy Brandon, has written a delightful book about life and travel through a cat's eyes. See a description of the book, below and then come to the library to see a copy of this book!

The library's Friends are now taking orders for this book for your reading enjoyment or for gift-giving now through November 30. Each book costs $10 and must be prepaid upon ordering. Our library will receive a donation for each book purchased at the library. Order yours today!

Description: This enjoyable tale of two cats that travel around the country and camp with their adopted parents combines adventure and humor with photo cartoons to keep the reader smiling. It is told through the voice of Stormy, a black cat with a small white patch on his chest and a deep Siamese voice. Join Stormy and Princess on their many trips around the country during their summer vacations as they reflect on living with this adventuresome couple. Co-op Press is making this book available to Humane Societies and Library Friends Groups on consignment as a fund-raiser to support these types of organizations.
